Mae West Festival
Original Theatre by Original Women

Rules and Regulations - MWF :

Mae West Fest performances are written & directed by women. The playwright
can be from any time or place. If you have a team already put together, the
director (or other suitable representative - approved by the MWF) must be
local - as there are required informational meetings.

Performances & plays range in length from 10 minutes 1 hour maximum.

We always need directors, as well as playwrights. You do not have to have a
project to submit as a director. Directors will be briefly interviewed and
matched with an appropriate play. We also offer mentoring for first-time and
novice directors.

The festival has no entry fee and no theme, other than work written or
directed by women. Submittals are now being accepted and if you have a
